Somatic Experiences &Organic Intelligence
Somatic Experiencing & Organic Intelligence are mindfulness & body based therapeutic approaches designed to support our bodies get unstuck and moving beyond states of fight, flight and freeze and build the biological capacity for expanding the range of emotional regulation, be rooted in the present moment and deepen your capacity for joy, ease and pleasure in life. Our nervous system is designed for resilience, but can sometimes get “stuck” in states that leave us struggling and feeling disconnected from ourselves, the world around us and keeping us from fully “inhabiting” our deepest Self and creativity . The primary goal in SE and Organic Intelligence work is on building nervous system CAPACITY, and be able to more efficiently and effective process stress so you can have energy to move toward what is meaningful for you. As the founder of Organic Intelligence, Steve Hoskinson says, “our goal is to help you FEEL BETTER BY FEELING BETTER.”
Being connected with our body senses and our external environments is an essential skill for everyday “good living” and allows us to inhabit our mind, body and spirit more fully and be in more authentic and connected relationships with others.

What Is Internal Family Systems Therapy
IFS is an evidence based, powerfully transformative model for understanding our mind & body and having language for self understanding and moving beyond areas of stuckness and inner values conflicts. IFS is a healing modality that believes that we all have a personality system which makes up multiple “parts” with each of us. Due to prior negative experiences, traumas, or early life attachment wounding, some of these “parts” of us develop extreme or confusing ways of being, and continue to feel, act and hold onto adaptive coping mechanisms and old ways of learning to protect ourselves.
We first get to work to know your parts (mental and physical) that are primarily involved in your presenting problems. Through gentle inquiry, we learn more about them, where & how they show up in the body and nervous system states, and begin to find NEW ways of relating to these parts from a more integrated cohesive SELF led way that can create much more spaciousness to move toward your goals and values aligned priorities.
Healing is a PROCESS. The hardest part can be finding the right help and getting started.

About Kelly
It is a profound honor and joy to walk alongside so many individuals on their healing path coming back into mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing. I deeply believe that with the right support, we can move beyond our survival adaptations and build our capacity to return to feelings of ease, joy, satisfaction, ALIVENESS and reconnect with a sense of radical “wholeness” and authenticity.
As an Occupational Therapist with a broad box of mind and body tools, my deepest hope is to help you reconnect to your own sense of agency and feel empowered to move toward what is meaningful and important to you.
I believe that our greatest pains are tremendous opportunities to redefine how we move through the world, and come into a renewed relationship with ourselves and others.
