As a Holistic Mental Health Occupational Therapist, I love working with individuals who :

-Feel like there has been a “missing piece” in purely cognitive based talk therapy…. and wanting a depth and gentle, trauma informed support and tools for helping yourself take action and implementing insights  into practical grounded change in your daily life and relationships. 

-Are Autistic or Neurodivergent and desiring deeper understanding of how to befriend and support your  nervous system and sensory needs…. I LOVE supporting  individuals to discover your unique strengths, gifts, radical acceptance… and help you develop daily life skills, expand your executive functioning , emotional regulation with more ease and empowerment.

Somatic Experiencing &Organic Intelligence

 Somatic Experiencing  & Organic Intelligence  are mindfulness & biologically based therapeutic approaches designed to support our bodies get unstuck and moving beyond states of fight, flight and freeze and build the biological capacity for expanding the range of emotional regulation,  be rooted in the present moment and deepen your capacity for joy, ease and pleasure in life.  Our nervous system is designed for resilience, but can sometimes get “stuck” in states that leave us struggling and feeling disconnected from ourselves,  the world around us  and keeping us from fully inhabiting our deepest Self and access our sense of agency .The primary  goal in SE and Organic Intelligence work is on building nervous system  CAPACITY, and be able to more efficiently and effective process stress so you can have energy and agency to  move toward what is meaningful for you. As the founder of Organic Intelligence, Steve Hoskinson says, “the goal is to help you FEEL BETTER BY FEELING BETTER.”  I  am here to helping you find the small doable steps, and creating conditions for your biology to do so more easefully on its own, not by force or sheer willpower. 

Being connected with our body senses and our external environments  is an essential skill for everyday “good living” and allows us to inhabit our mind, body and spirit more fully and in more authentic and connected relationships.

What Is Internal Family Systems Therapy

 IFS is an evidence based, powerfully transformative model for understanding our mind & body and having language for self understanding and moving beyond areas of stuckness and inner values conflicts.  IFS is a healing modality that believes that we all have a personality system which makes up multiple “parts” with each of us. Due to prior negative experiences or early life attachment wounding, cultural and systemic barriers, some of these “parts” of us develop extreme or confusing ways of being, and continue to feel, act and hold onto adaptive coping mechanisms and old ways of learning to protect ourselves. 

 Through gentle inquiry, dialogue and sometimes in creative prompts, you will gain a greater understanding of how these parts impact your nervous system states, and begin to find NEW ways of relating to yourself with more spaciousness and ease to move toward your goals and values aligned priorities. As an Occupational Therapist, I am especially focused on finding ways to help you befriend and build compassion for yourself and support your body and nervous system build enough safety and nervous system capacity to show up for your daily life, routines and relationships in NEW ways now..  “I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.”- Carl Jung

Deep change work is a PROCESS that does take comitment….but we can go so much faster with the right support.

About Kelly

 It is a profound honor and joy to walk alongside so many individuals on their healing path coming back into mental, physical and spiritual wellbeing.  I deeply believe that with the right support, we can move beyond our survival adaptations and build our capacity to return to feelings of ease, joy, satisfaction, ALIVENESS and reconnect with a sense of  radical “wholeness” and authenticity.

 As an Occupational Therapist with a broad box of mind and body tools, my deepest hope is to help you reconnect to your own sense of agency and feel empowered to move toward what is meaningful and important to you. 

I believe that our greatest pains are tremendous opportunities to redefine how we move through the world, and come into a renewed  relationship with ourselves and others.
